Business Terms

General Terms:
Terms to credit-approved accounts are Net 30 from date of shipment.  Credit is available to qualified accounts and may be established after furnishing standard credit information and references.  New accounts' first order will normally be shipped "open" pending completion of a credit history.  Orders are shipped F.O.B. Ennis, TX.  No shipment will be made to any account 15 days past due.  The customer is responsible for any collection costs incurred by Fine Line Ribbon Co.  Click on the link below to download our credit application, and then "Save the File". Credit Application
Annual Agreements, Contracts, and Inventory Management:
Annual agreements may be negotiated to secure more competitive pricing for large volume users.  Contracts and purchase orders with extended shipping dates may also be negotiated.  This program allows a convenient way to schedule ship times and to insure product is available when you need it.  Programs involving custom products are also available with non cancelable purchase orders.

Minimum Order Requirements:
Fine Line Ribbon Co. does not automatically add a service or handling charge to each order.  We do ask that you observe our $25 or 2 (two) dozen ribbon minimum quantity per order.  A minimum of 6 ribbons of any type is required.  A variety of ribbons may be included in your order to reach order requirements or quantity pricing requirements.  Orders that fail to meet minimum order requirements may have a $2.50 charge added to the order.

Custom Products:
Custom Products are available by special order only.  Custom products are specially inked ribbons, custom packaging, OEM products, special colors, special length ribbons or ribbons we may not manufacture and are listed as "SO" or "special order".
Bar Coding information:
Fine Line Ribbon has bar coding capability to maintain your inventory systems or to provide shelf labels.   Contact customer service for more information.

FREE Custom Labels and Custom Box Imprints:
Fine Line Ribbon will provide FREE custom labeling or box imprints on individually boxed items.  Custom labeling may include your name, address, phone numbers, your re-order numbers, or other information which will help you personalize service for your clients. Please ask us about this unique program.

Shipping:
Fine Line Ribbon offers a variety of shipping alternatives.  Unless otherwise specified, shipments under 250 pounds will be shipped by United Parcel Service (UPS).  Shipments over 250 pounds will be handled by independent trucking companies and are charged to the consignee by the designated trucking company or shipped under 100 wt charges for UPS.  Freight charged will be added to all invoices.
Ship Terms:
Fine Line Ribbon will make every effort to meet your delivery needs.  If orders are placed before 11 am. many in-stock items can be shipped the next day.  Most orders will be shipped within 2 to 3 days.   Orders requiring special inking or fabrics may require 3 to 4 days.  Contact Fine Line Ribbon for shipping schedule on large orders.
Drop Shipment:
Fine Line Ribbon will drop ship your order at no additional charge, if you request it, and are on open credit terms with us.  Our company name will not appear on any of the documentation or shipping labels.
Claims:
We strive to insure all orders are shipped accurately and complete.  Should you find damaged products, shortages or shipping errors, please file your claims within 10 days of receipt of goods.  Physical shipping damage is considered the responsibility of the freight carrier.

Warranty:
All finished ribbon products are warranted against manufacturing defects for one year from date of shipment.  Fine Line Ribbon cannot warrant damage resulting from misuse, or improper storage, nor can it be liable for incidental or consequential damage from any of it's products.
Returns:
Fine Line Ribbon will accept returns from a customer only with a Return Authorization number (RA #).  That "RA #" must be displayed on the incoming packaging or the product will be refused.  We will not accept returns without a return authorization number.  All returns must be in their original packaging.
When you request a "RA #", please provide the invoice number, invoice date, quantity to return, and the reason for return.  Please specify whether you want the product replaced or credit to your account.  Credit on account is only available to accounts in good standing.  Cash refunds are not available for any product.
Fine Line Ribbon reserves the right to make final inspection of all returned merchandise.   If our Quality Dept. determines that the product is not defective, the return may be subject to a restocking charge.  Products returned to our stock due to customer misordering, customer inability to sell the product or customer non-acceptance of shipment will be subject to a restocking charge.
